He was raised to be a President

To understand why RFK Jr. is so well-qualified to be president, despite the fact that he chose to pursue environmental law instead of a political career, it's helpful to understand the heart, mindset and determination of RFK Jr.'s grandfather, Joseph P. Kennedy Sr.

JFK had a best friend named Lem Billings, who was a big part of the family as the kids grew up. When he first met Bobby, he exclaimed, excitedly, that Bobby Jr. was "Just like Jack!" - who was his lifelong best friend. After Bobby's Dad and Uncle were assassinated, Lem became like a second father to RFK Jr., and told him he could be president one day.

Joesph Kennedy Sr. was committed to raising strong political leaders in his family. Bigger than that, he was determined to raise a president. He originally wanted his eldest son, Joseph P. Kennedy Jr (pictured in the top left of The Kennedy Brothers book to the left), to fill the position, but he was killed in the war.

From Wikipedia:

Kennedy's father had aspirations for him to become president of the United States. Kennedy was a delegate to the 1940 Democratic National Convention and planned to run for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives after his military service as the first stepping stone on the path to the presidency.[1] Kennedy's death while participating in a top-secret mission in 1944 caused his father to transfer his aspirations to his next-oldest son, John F. Kennedy,[1] who followed the path first planned for his older brother by advancing from the House to the U.S. Senate and then to the presidency.[1]

Robert F. Kennedy wrote a book called American Values, that details his upbringing in a household where political leaders were constantly coming in and out. His Uncle was the President of the United States and his father was a beloved senator who was running for president. If you don't know much about Robert F.
