Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is the perfect person to help us heal the divide in the United States. He explains why he's adopted the campaign slogan:
PEOPLE BEFORE POLITICS, COUNTRY BEFORE PARTY
RFK Jr.: Honoring Washington’s Vision of Healing the Divide
RFK Jr.: Campaigning To Heal The Divide
Not only does he try very hard not to bash people, but he also apologizes when he's wrong, in order to maintain friendships and connections.
He talks in this interview about how he spent 3 months in a tent in Africa with Roger Ailes. After that trip, Ailes started Fox news, and Kennedy didn't agree with many of his policies. But Kennedy kept his relationship with Ailes, who supported him, and allowed him on his show, to promote his environmental causes. It's unlikely that Ailes would have let him do that if he didn't already consider a good friend.
RFK Jr: The Candidate the Establishment Fears Most
This is a classic example of how Kennedy is able to meet people in the middle. He makes friendships all over the place, and people can see that he's a good guy, so they want to continue to help him, even if he has different beliefs. You can see how that's a really good quality to have as someone in any political field.
